What do you hope to do after graduation? As of now, I hope to work in Family Law, but am realizing that I also have interest in real estate and employment law.

Why law school? Legal issues have always excited and enticed me and from the first time I stood up to a bully who called my sister names, I knew that I enjoyed being an advocate for others. I viewed law school as a way to unite my passions for the law and advocacy.

Why BC Law? I have played sports my entire life and although I appreciate the competitive spirt, I am more so to drawn to intellectual environments focused on teamwork and cooperation. When I visited BC Law, I felt like I could see myself in this environment where everyone truly wants each other to succeed. BC law is focused on creating classes of colleagues.

What most surprised you about BC Law when you got here? I was surprised that law students have fun! I was amazed at the amount of extracurricular activities that the Law School sponsors. The community makes a strong effort to sponsor team-building events so we can get to know our classmates outside of the academic setting.

Boston College Law Ambassadors is a newly launched program designed to enhance the on-campus experience for every prospective student who visits BC Law. The Ambassadors are thirty students who lead campus tours, help out at Admitted Students Day, and serve as a resource for applicants and admitted students who are considering enrolling at BC Law.

In support of this role, each Ambassador will be profiled on the Impact blog over the course of the school year. If you are a prospective student and notice something about any of our Ambassadors that you’d like to discuss with him or her – whether it’s a shared alma mater, an interesting extracurricular, or an appealing summer job – do not hesitate to reach out. After all, that’s what we’re here for!
