Welcome Back Guide

The start of a new school year is a hectic time. Figuring out new classes, learning brand-new material, and readjusting to the school-year schedule can be a bit overwhelming. I have been finding myself jotting down dates, searching my emails for important information, and panic-texting a classmate or two to make sure I am not missing anything.

In an attempt to quell the chaos, I put together some pertinent administrative information for the semester. Whether it’s knowing when the next shuttle is arriving to get to school or having resources to learn more about different BC Law departments, this guide has helped me keep everything in one place.

Need more information or have anything to add to our resource guide? Make sure to comment on this post or reach out to me to add more great information.

Dining Hall
Stuart Dining is open, providing meals, snacks, and beverages. The dining area has been reorganized to provide for social distancing and to account for waiting times around selecting food. If standing in line isn’t your thing, you can also take advantage of BC’s Get Mobile App to order food online and pick it up. Learn more about mobile ordering here.

The library is reserved for BC Law students, faculty, and staff only. Masks must be worn at all times and social distancing measures are mandatory. The library staff has taped off chairs, carrels, and tables to accommodate physical distance. Study rooms are reservation only and have cleaning kits to disinfect the table and chairs after use. Printing and scanning will still be available, with disinfectant wipes and sanitizers near all machines. Phone chargers, laptop chargers, and headphones are not currently available for check out.
